Following are links to a number of historic materials related to the Ginzton Family
of Los Altos Hills.
- Artemas Ginzton who played such an instrumental role
in the planning, establishment, and maintenace of the pathway system in our town as well as at the County and State level.
- Ed Ginzton who played a significant role in the founding and growth of Varian Associates.
- The following materials pertain directly to Varian Associates, but are closely associated with the Ginzton name. This company,
together with Hewlett-Packard, were the two big pillars
in the early development of electronic equipment in our area, which in turn set the foundation
for what was to become Silicon Valley.
